Research Interests.

Digitization of Hedin and jarring collection at the Ethnographic Museum and the Istanbul Institute. Together with the Swedish Istanbul Institute: Funded by The General Fund, 2011-2013

Ritual and Punishment in East Asia. An international forskninsgprojekt funded by the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science, by ZINBUN (Institute for Research in Humanities), Kyoto University 2008-2012

Ethnographic Museum of Central Asian collections, digitization of manuscripts primarily for making available internationally; cooperation with, linking to the IDP (International Dunhuang Project) British Library 1996 -> Collaboration with RIHN (Research Institute for Humanity and Nature), Kyoto, exchange of materials for the analysis of the archaeological site Xiaohe Mudi ("Ördeks Necropolis") in the Taklamakan Desert, Xinjiang, funded by RIHN 2010-2012

Cooperation with Younghegong temple administration, Beijing on the temple's history and documentation.

Issuing of published and unpublished archival material. Funded by Younghegong temple administration. 2006 -> Cooperation with the Research Department at the Palace Museum, Gugong, in Beijing, the Ethnographic Museum's collection of tsa tsa molds. 2007 -> Cooperation with Hosei University, Tokyo, and SENRI-MINPAKU Museum, Osaka; collections of Japanese materials in northern Europe, funded by the Japan Science Foundation. 2010 ->
